Welcome to the tasting experience of the Summer! 


The coffees featured in this sample set—representing the rarest, most-cherished lots in the world—were produced by the Catalyst Trade team through endless sundrenched hours of labor at rural Ethiopian washing stations and long days in dusty processing warehouses in Addis Ababa.

Through the 24 samples in this set (100g each), we showcase three Innovation Process Categories—Instrinsic, Interval and Symbiotic—all of which embody our hard-won philosophy. We believe that coffee is enough on its own. Beautiful enough, interesting enough, complex enough. Every bean, every pound in our Innovation Lots has been cared-for, thought-about, and loved. The coffees sampled in this box need not be altered to be expressive of themselves. They only need to be respected, studied, roasted and brewed with the same intention they've been produced—to achieve collaborative coffee innovation at its best.

On August 1, coffee professionals across the globe will have the opportunity to bid on the coffees featured in this set. In collaboration with our producer partners and M-Cultivo, we'll be auctioning these world-class lots to green buyers who share our philosophy.
